At OXFUN, we strive to provide a flexible platform for our users. Based on user research and team experience, we've recognized the need for granular control in sub-account management. We've recognized two main areas of interest:

1. Institutions requiring customized permissions for different employees or departments within the firm.

2. Users managing multiple strategies who wish to isolate risks or 'ringfence' margin specific to a single strategy.

To address these needs, we've created a segregated account management structure.

This enhanced structure offers our users the tools needed to effectively manage teams and strategies in a secure, boxed-off environment:

  • Main Account: This account has administrative rights, allowing for the creation and management of multiple sub-accounts and logins.

  • Sub-accounts: Logins can be assigned to multiple sub-accounts, each with distinct trading permissions.

  • API Keys and Management: These are created and managed separately for added security and flexibility.

Sub-Account Creation:

1. Log into your account on OXFUN.

2. In the top right-hand corner under your account avatar, select “Sub-account” from the drop-down menu

3. Next, a pop up will appear in the middle of the screen, click “Manage Sub-Accounts”. This will take you to the Sub Account management dashboard.

4. To create a sub account from the Sub-Account management dashboard, click on the “Add” button in the top right corner.

5. A “Create New Sub-Account” pop up will appear. Enter the name you want to call the sub account, in this example we put ‘Sub-Account-1’, then press “Create Sub-Account

6. You will then see the sub-account you created, and any other sub-accounts you have, on the sub- account dashboard page.

Funding a Sub-Account

To fund a sub-account, go to the Sub-Account dashboard from above and click “transfer” on the sub account you want to fund.

Next you will be taken to the “Transfer” page, which allows you to move funds from one account to another. Once there, you can:

  1. Select the account you want to transfer funds from.

  2. Select the sub-account you want to transfer funds to.

  3. Select the coin you want to transfer.

  4. Select the amount.

  5. Press 'Submit'.

In the example above, we have transferred 1,000 USDT from our primary account to ‘Sub-Account-1’.

Removing Assets from a Sub-Account

To withdraw funds from a sub-account, it is necessary to transfer the funds back to the main account first. This can be done in the same way as transferring funds to a sub-account, by selecting 'transfer' and following the steps above.

Please note that direct withdrawals from sub-accounts are not permitted, and all withdrawals must be made from the main account. However, deposits to sub-accounts are allowed, and can be made in the same way as deposits to the main account.

Freezing a Sub-Account

1. To freeze a sub-account, go to the Sub-Account dashboard. From there, you will be able to see all of your sub-accounts.

2. Choose the account you wish to freeze and click on “freeze” located on the right-hand side of the screen.

3. Once you click freeze, a pop-up will appear asking you to confirm. Click “Ok” and all actions within that account will be disabled.

Unfreezing a Sub-Account

To unfreeze a sub-account, follow the same process as described above to freeze a sub-account, and select the "Unfreeze" option on the right-hand side of the screen.

This will allow you to reactivate the sub-account and resume trading activities.
